Between the post-race recovery week and my cross-country travel, there’s not much to report training-wise.
Saturday, however, was another sad reminder of why we do what we do with Team in Training. While I was in transit between Jacksonville and Dallas, we lost Josh — one of our team honorees — to B-cell non-Hodgkin lymphoma. We will all meet later this week for a team candle lighting and memorial run.
There’s nothing that can be said other than to ask that you please keep his lovely wife, Rina, in your thoughts.
Hug the people you love and be grateful for the time you have together.
Cancer sucks.
